Multi-Currency Conversion

Handling currency conversion is crucial for international sales.

By configuring WooCommerce’s currency settings and using appropriate plugins, you can offer a seamless shopping experience to customers worldwide. Therefore increasing your store’s international appeal and boosting sales.

For example, products can be set to a base currency of AUD with the facility implemented for customers to have products displayed with USD (or other) currency prices. The USD conversion can be set manually or automatically using a live currency feed.

We have also created a facility in the product administration to allow product pricing to be set in USD (or other currency) and display the AUD conversion to customers on the front end of the website. This allows merchants to link there pricing to their suppliers' currency.

Multi-Language Conversion

An example of multi-language conversion can be implemented with the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin. This plugin and service will translate the English content, including product information, into Japanese or other languages you require.

In WooCommerce, language conversion or multilingual support is crucial for reaching a global audience and providing a seamless shopping experience in different languages.

Here’s how you can manage language conversion effectively - WooCommerce multi-language setup example.

Product Syncing Between Stores

If you want to manage products for multiple online shops from a single administration then it is possible to push all (or selected) products to multiple "child" sites.

This custom development can include the following:

  • Products can be selected to appear on some sites and not others.
  • Pricing of products can be set for each site.
  • This facility is managed from the "source site" where all product updates and management will be conducted.

In WooCommerce, product syncing typically refers to keeping product data consistent across different platforms or systems, such as syncing products between WooCommerce and another eCommerce platform, or syncing products between multiple WooCommerce stores. Here’s how you can manage product syncing effectively:

Automated Stock and Price Updates

In WooCommerce, ensuring stock and price synchronization is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory levels and pricing across your online store.

If this is crucial to your online store operation then we can implement real-time, automated updates across single or multiple stores.

Store and Stockist Locator

If you operate, or sell to, bricks and mortar stores you may want to allow people to use their location to find their nearest store or stockist.

We have implemented multiple store location facilities on websites and one of our favourite plugins is WP Store Locator by Tijmen Smit.

Here is some information about store and stockist locator for WooCommerce - Store and stockist locator setup for WooCommerce.

Multiple Warehouses and Geolocation

Implementing an online store that utilises multiple warehouses with independent stock levels at each location can be quite complex.

If you have warehouses in multiple locations across the country, even in different countries, we have implemented solutions that include:

  • We can use geolocation to direct customers to the warehouse nearest to their delivery address.
  • Customers can manually select their location (or region) which selects the appropriate warehouse for delivery.
  • Customers can see different pricing and stock levels according to the warehouse that is selected.
  • Shipping costs can be different when delivering from the selected warehouse.
  • The products displayed on the front end may differ as not all regions may carry the same products.
  • Administering the warehouse inventory (stock, pricing, availability, etc.) can be automatically processed depending on the ERP software being used.

We have developed our own plugins to manage warehouses, regions, pricing, stock, customers and automation. There would be examples we could show you that may be exactly what you need.

We have used our own development and plugins to implement a quote facility on customers' websites.
